How to Save Your Instagram Stories
Downloading and storing stories or videos you previously uploaded or created on Instagram can be done by taking the following steps.
Open the Instagram app. Open the story you’d like to save. Select More, the three dots located in the lower-right corner. Tap Save. Choose Save Story. To save the photo without the text or effects you added to it, tap Save Photo.
Saving Another User’s Instagram Videos
If you’ve ever tried to save another user’s video or story, you know that there’s no clear way to do it. This is because Instagram doesn’t actually own the videos and so can’t guarantee that it’s OK to do so.
The best solution for a high-quality digital version of someone else’s video you see on Instagram is to simply ask them for a copy.
