Knowing the location of chunks can help you survive and become a better player.
You’ll see a message at the bottom-left corner of your screen: Chunk borders: shown.
To turn off borders, press F3 + G again.
If either of the X or Z coordinates are divisible by 16 (ex: 16, 32, 48…), you’re at the edge of a chunk. If both X and Z are divisible by 16, you’re in the northwest corner of the chunk. You can use these coordinates to pinpoint ores such as gold and iron. You could even use chunk borders to find a perfect location for a house.
